2023 Legislative Platform for the 118th Congress

CASE Policy and Legislative Committee is pleased to share the CASE Legislative Platform for the 118th Congress. The platform focuses on three main priorities: attracting, preparing, and retaining high-quality educators reflecting the diversity of our students; fully funding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA); and providing mental health support for students and families.

The Special Education Legislative Summit (SELS) is an advocacy opportunity for leaders to learn more about federal legislation and meet with their Members of Congress around important issues in special education. Hill visits will take place in person on Tuesday, July 11th, subject to the in-person policies of Congressional offices.
