General Information:
  • Registrations must be completed through the registration link using a credit card. Purchase Orders will only be accepted for group registrations of 10 or more participants. To request the process for submitting a Purchase Order, please email [email protected].
  • Refund requests, minus a 25% administrative fee, will be honored if submitted via email at least one month prior to the event date. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.
  • A recording for this session will not be provided; you must attend to get the information.

Julie J. Weatherly, Esq. owns Resolutions in Special Education, Inc., an Alabama special education law and consulting firm. Julie is a member of the State Bars of Alabama and Georgia and, for more than 36 years, has provided consultation and legal representation to school agencies across the country in educating students with disabilities. Julie has been a member of the faculty for many national and state legal institutes and is a frequent speaker at special education law conferences. Julie has developed a number of training programs that support special education legal compliance and have been published nationally as a part of her training, workshops, and seminars. In June of 1996, Julie appeared on the CBS news program "60 Minutes" to discuss the cost of meeting the legal requirements of IDEA. In 1998, she was honored by Georgia's CEC as the Individual who had Contributed Most to Students with Disabilities, and in April 2012, Julie received the Award for Outstanding Service from CASE. 
 

Guidance for Virtual Learning

Virtual sessions are designed to provide world-class learning and networking opportunities to strengthen and grow the field of special education leadership. The procedures for virtual sessions are included below.
  • Registrations are for each individual person who will attend an event.
  • You will need to enter your individual CASE Member ID during registration. Members get a reduced rate for CASE Events. Not a member yet? You can join here!
  • For group registrations of 10 or more, contact Carrie Turner at [email protected] for group processing information. Please note: Payments are made via credit card and must be received before the event.
  • Event cancellations should be submitted to Carrie Turner at [email protected] and will be honored up to a week before the event for a refund minus a 25% administrative fee.
  • Virtual learning recordings are available to participants who have registered and paid for two weeks once the training concludes. These two weeks cannot be extended.  
By participating in this virtual event, you agree not to save, record, share, or post recordings or any photos from recordings without prior written permission from CASE. The Council of Administrators of Special Education uses remote learning opportunities through video communication. You must respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of our recordings. As a benefit of being a member, you have access to many free virtual learning opportunities that address the unique challenges of special education leadership! 
 

If you attend just two events annually, you will save more than the cost of your CASE membership.
