Julie J. Weatherly, Esq. owns Resolutions in Special Education, Inc., an Alabama special education law and consulting firm. Julie is a member of the State Bars of Alabama and Georgia and, for more than 36 years, has provided consultation and legal representation to school agencies across the country in educating students with disabilities. Julie has been a member of the faculty for many national and state legal institutes and is a frequent speaker at special education law conferences. Julie has developed a number of training programs that support special education legal compliance and have been published nationally as a part of her training, workshops, and seminars. In June of 1996, Julie appeared on the CBS news program "60 Minutes" to discuss the cost of meeting the legal requirements of IDEA. In 1998, she was honored by Georgia's CEC as the Individual who had Contributed Most to Students with Disabilities, and in April 2012, Julie received the Award for Outstanding Service from CASE.

Individual registrations are to be paid by credit card only at the time of registration.  Purchase Orders are only accepted if you register a group of 10 or more; please email Debbi Magnifico, [email protected], for the procedure to submit a purchase order. Refund requests (less 25% administrative fee) will be honored if the request is received in writing or by email. Requests must be received one month before the event date, or no refund will be afforded.
